This area is on south side of the New Highway #2, straddling the New Maryland highway #101. This area includes a number of new developments, including Springwater Place, Applewood Acres, Castle Acres, Pine Ridge Estates, Peterson park and Sunrise Estates.
Schools
This area is served by a local elementary school, but high school students will have a commute into town.
Shopping
The area is readily accessible to the city's shopping malls along Prospect Street, including Regent Mall, the city's largest.
Recreation
The area is largely rural, with large open spaces. There is a recreation centre in the community, and the Empire Cinema is in the nearby Regent Mall.
