Outdoor activities include downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, biathlon,
tobogganing, tubing and ice skating. The Alpine hill features a 250-foot vertical drop and 10 alpine trails serviced by four lifts – a quad chair, t-bar, platter lift and rope tow. A half pipe has been constructed to make the hill more
challenging for snowboarders. The Nordic/X-Country site features 24.5 km of groomed recreational trails, 7.5 km of competitive trails and biathlon trails.

Sugarloaf Provincial Park is a 3,000 acre winter recreation p'ayground with eight
alpine ski trailswith a vertical drop of 507 feet. There are also 22 km of groomed
cross-country ski trails, 32 km (20 mi) of groomed snowmobile trails, two snowshoeing trails,
a slide hill and a large illuminated outdoor skating rink.
