Transportation: Public Transit
The Fredericton Transit is run by the The City of Fredericton, Transit Division and operates 25 buses on seven routes,
Monday to Saturday, 6:30 am until 11:00 pm.

The cost is $1.75 for all riders (Children under 6 - FREE) and serves the Greater Fredericton Area. Yo can get
Adult Rider Cards that cost 10 Rides - $16.00 or 20 Rides - $30.00 from a number of vendors on both the Northside and Southside. New monthly transit passes for adults cost $65 per month. (as of January 1, 2007).
Bus Passes
$38.00 a month for full-time students (with Student ID). Student passes can be bought at UNB Student Union - The Paper Trail, St. Thomas University - Information Help
Centre, and City Hall . Seniors can get :65 Plus Club Pass: for $55.00 available to seniors age 65 and over with Old Age Security Identification Card.
The Pass is valid until December of each year (unlimited rides), and can be bought at City Hall - Revenue Desk, and the Recreation Department

Dial-A=Bus
Dial-A-Bus: Operated by Fredericton Transit to provide a specialized transportation
service to the mobility impaired residents of the City.
operates two wheelchair lift equipped buses , Monday to Friday from 7:00
am until 11:00 pm , and on Saturdays from 10:00am - 4:00pm , and from 7:00pm until
11:00pm. Registration is required for Dial-A-Bus use through the Canadian
Rehabilitation Council for the Disabled (CRCD 458-8739). Reservations for use of
Dial-A-Bus are available by subscription (regular users, consistent times and
destinations) and through prior day request. One way fares are $3.00. Attendants,
where required, travel free of charge. To reserve times call Dial-A-Bus at 460-2212.
