Old Government House

Nearby Towns & Attractions

Trail Bridge across the Saint John River

Fredericton is nestled in the spectacular Saint John River valley, which runs into the heartland of the province of New Brunswick. The Transportation-Canada Trail runs along much of that valley from Oromocto to the Quebec border. In Fredericton, the Trail crosses the river from downtown to Nashwaasksis on the Trail Bridge to run along the scenic north bank to the dam and provincial park at Mactaquac.
