There is lots to see and do around Fredericton in the city.You can visit a museums, lots of parks and waterfront greenspace, and activities and sports to keep anybody busy (and happy). We even have a page that has tips on hundreds of things to do with kids.

Fredericton is nestled in the spectacular Saint John River valley, which runs into the heartland of the province of New Brunswick. The Trans-Canada Trail runs along much of that valley from Oromocto to the Quebec border. In Fredericton, the Trail crosses the river from downtown to Nashwaasksis on the Trail Bridge to run along the scenic north bank to the dam and provincial park at Mactaquac.

There are many accommodation options in the area, from first class hotels, to motels, beds & breakfast, long-term accommodation, wilderness lodges and camping.
