In total, 454.2 hectares (48,868,831 sq. feet) of undeveloped industrial land is available in Fredericton. Greater Fredericton has 10 industrial parks, with four industrial parks inside the city: Fredericton Industrial Park, Vanier Industrial Park, Chippin's Industrial Park, and Karellyn Place Industrial Park. An additional 132 ha of industrial lands are available to the north of the city and 527 ha are located to the south. Vanier Industrial Park
This park has city-serviced, fully-developed industrial land, and has several established companies, including Urban Machinery Canada, Atlantic Tractors & Equipment, Capital Equipment Ltd., and Atlantic Roofers Ltd. Its location offers direct access to the Trans Canada Highway, proximity to the Fredericton Airport, and is only eight minutes to the City Center. Fully serviced land costs $24,000 per acre.
Greater Fredericton Knowledge Park
The 26-acre park provides facilities in a university environment for companies engaged in research and development in fields such as Information Technology, Biotechnology, Education, Engineering, Health Care, Forestry, Fisheries and Agriculture. Created by the Greater Fredericton Economic Development Corporation jointly with the Province of New Brunswick, the City of Fredericton, the University of New Brunswick and Greenarm Corporation, the Greater Fredericton Knowledge Park is Atlantic Canada's Premiere Research and Development Facility.
